I have a 1983 31 ft sailboat that has a Alder/Barbour refridgerator/freezer. Probably from the looks of it, it's most likely original to the boat. Anyway it keeps blowing the 10 amp fuse.If I put a 15 amp in it then trips the circuit breaker.I was told its a dead short. I have looked but cant seem to find where this could be. Do I invest in a new unit or do I replace the broken part (what ever it is)? Will a heat/air service man know anything about this unit? My AC is also tripping its circuit breaker also. Something to do with the relay (I think)? The heat works fine using the same AC unit with no tripping. Whats the concensus? The refridgerator worked great till this heat spell. The Ac has been acting up for the last two months,so I know theres no correlation there. Keep it up, Ctskip
