Thanks. It is attached to a removable fiberglass helm seat.
The princess/pulpit seats have removable slats, some of which have screw holes that have stripped the teak. I have very limited time I am able to work on these at the moment and am thinking of screwing them back on with something to adhere them to the plastic seat and just replacing them with either new teak or fake teak (as suggested earlier) when these fail. Would 3M 3000 UV be a good call here? It seems it would hold up well but be easily removed when the time comes to service the teak again?

Looks like the PO had the same idea. The adhesive on piece wasn’t adhered at all to the plastic though. The screws were holding it in, though it was shifting on the seat when mounted.

To wrap it up, here’s the finished helm seat. I taped the fiberglass gaps with pin striping tape from an auto store and applied 2 back to back coats of Star Brite Teak Oil Sealer. Cleaned up excess in the gaps with a paper towel wrapped putty knife.

Now to mount the pulpit seats slats. I’m planning to seat any that won’t secure well due to stripped screw holes with 3M 4000UV.
