I have used Cetol gloss on teak with great results. Just be sure to read the label first. I believe you need to use a matte finish as the first coats, you cannot use the gloss as the first coat

nice work, but to really bring it home apply several coats of your finish to the para cord wrapping to seal it up and give extra uv and water protection. It won't be as soft mind you but also be less suseptible to sweat and staining too. And it will give it an antique patina?
