I would like to address areas on my 1987 Hunter 26.5 were the gelcoat has hairline cracks. I was wondering if anyone knows of a product that I could use that would allow me to easily "refresh" these areas without going through the traditional refinishing process.

Have a look at Fiberglass Trilogy Part II (above)

I spent some time researching this prior to developing a gelcoat repair kit (still hope to to do this when the season slows down). You will see what you need there, including some discussion of color matching. You can get supplies sent to you from TAP plastics by ordering online (www.Tapplastics.com) or (in Hawaii and some parts of California) from Fiberglass Hawaii. Small gelcoat repair kits can also be bought at West Marine and other marine stores (there is one made by Bondo). Sincerely Jim Willis
