Daly's Profin

Made by the same folks that make Daly's Seafin for cabin interior bulkeheads and furniture. The Profin is tougher for use on the cabin sole. It looks great, lasts a long time, and is not slippery. We did ours three years ago and it still looks great.

A few weeks ago someone named a product that

sprays on dents to get the wood back to level again before refinishing. It's like a steamer in a can. I could sure use it to remove a couple of those inevitable construction dings to our sole. Jeffs' job is on my list too. Anybody know the name?

Just Refinished sole this past spring

I just refinished my sole in my 1992 Hunter 335 and wrote an article about it for our newsletter. Go to www.mainehuntersailing.com select Newsletters, then November Newsletter. You will find the article with picture on pages 7 and 8. Good luck!

Prep for Daly's Profin

Rob- Yes, I did sand it but I wasn't too aggressive because I wasn't sure how thick the teak and holly veneer is. So I used a medium grit and then a light grit, vacuum and tack cloth. The profin is easy to apply, I think we did two coats.
