The A-B REFER IN OUR Cat 36 quit... Compressor runs but the fan does not. The fan bumps when the 12 dc is applied. And when spun by hand while power is applied it stops quickly. However, when the power is not on the fan spins freely. Any help out there on a diagnoses???? THANKS S/V ILLUSION RICK

A/B Fan Problem
Rick I had a similar problem. I recommend you check the archives under Refrigeration and fans. I did, and found the right answer. Swapping the fan is easy. thanks Stu!! I tried that archive thing even before I wrote my REFER post, and didnt have much success. Perhaps we (I) need a refresher on using it. I used key words "Refer" and "refrigeration" but didnt get much help. So Thanks Again. S/V Illusion Rick

Rick Try this: 1. search (from top of home page) 2. discussion group ARCHIVES (bottom of box: "has moved" 3. type in fan 4. scroll to the marine refrigeration forum in the forum of choice box (don't use all forums) 5. hit search button Lots of posts. Good luck, Stu
