reefing main sail

Hi, i have a Pearson 27 1987, there is no reefing system install, the main sail is ready but nothing else is.

Can you give me, explain and picture of your system.

I have a Pearson27 that was rigged for "single line reeding". doesn't work-too much friction. I suggest you google "slab reeding for cruisers" for a clear explanation and diagram for this kind of reefing which I think is the best. have used this system for many years as it is simple, quick and trouble free even though you you are forward at the mast. Good luck.

Search this forum for "internal boom reef" and you will get a lot of info, good and bad, about the boom reefing.
