There has been considerable discussion on the forum about the Hunter 216 being overly tender. The consensus is to reduce the sail area...go figure! The stock sails come with one set of reef points that reduce the sail area by 28 percent...if my math is correct. I race a lot and would like to achieve optimum heel for almost any wind condition. I have been considering three reef points. Can you give any guidelines as to reasonable reef points, e.g., 15 percent/30 percent/45 percent sail area reduction?
