Reef lines for a 23.5... what size and how long...?

Hello, I'm trying to get my stuff together befor I head to the lake and was hopeing that someone would be able to help out...

What size and length line should I used for my reef points on my main sail? (I bought the boat used and the main does not have reef "ties" (lines that you tie to keep the sail from falling all over when the sail is reefed).

Reef Ties

Reef Ties are usually 1/4"
