Reef line Length

Hunter 37.5 37.5 Norfolk
I am a relatively new Hunter 37.5 owner (1996). I am replacing all the running rigging. I have the reef lines that run through the boom, four of them as I know there is a double pulley system in the boom. I cannot find anywhere in the manual or on the website that indicates the size and length of the reefing lines. Any help out there? The reef lines are all I have left to do. By the way, this is my 4th hunter in a row.

Thanks.

One place you can find running rigging is here:

http://shop.hunterowners.com/hp/rr.php?m=37.5

These are the lines Hunter spec'd for the boat when it was new.

You can also get another take on it based on a caculator, here:

Phil,
Thanks for the info. However I am already familiar with these two parts of the site. However, they do no address the reefing lines on the mainsail. I was hoping a prior 37.5 owner might have already replaced theirs and could save me some time and trouble. I am trying to figure out how much line I will need.

I am a prior owner of a 37.5 Hunter and I would note that you are going to have to drill out the rivets in the goose neck to get access anyway so just bite the bullet and take the boat off line for a while. The shuttles in the boom are absolutly positively not going to yield to any amount of fancy line renewal techniques that do not require physical removal and manual re threading of the lines on them. You probably have bird nests in there too so .......
