Redondo Beach Sailboat into Pier

Its amazing no one was hurt or killed. Watching the video, the guy couldn't get the head sail tight and the wave took them into the pier. Perfect example of sailing into a Lee Shore!

nfrye1, this has been discussed, and I mean discussed to death, in three prior threads. But it is all good. Yeah, all four of them got lucky this time. Too bad about the boat. Might find it on CraigsList as a fixer-upper this week.

For sale: 2012 racing boat. 24ft.
New condition. Except the mainsail is jammed. And the headsail can't be trimmed. Oh, and by the way the mainsail and headsail are actually gone. And so is the mast.
Boat recently washed inside and out with salt water.
Has been bashed up a little. Ok bashed up a lot.
However, boat is fast!
Just apparently not fast enough.
