Some time ago, I read an article in one of the boating slicks about how some sailor always gave away any of his unwanted or unused gear, rather than selling it or turning it over to a consignment shop. I have always liked that idea and have done similar things at my local marina and with my sailing pals with gear I no longer use. In order to expand this concept, Phil has been nice enough to create a new Forum for this purpose: "Digital Dumpster Dive" which can be found under the "Shared Forums" menu. Take a look and list some that stuff in your basement or lazarette.
