I hear ya. I am more of a best value and function guy. I'm more likely to spend bigger bucks on sailing tackle etc.

I agree... spend the necessary dollars where it matters and save them when it doesnt matter..

Options for upholstery here on an island of 9000 is limited and expensive. We tried an old man called Manerasia Cortez who has a shop maybe 20'x20'. He found us 4 samples of Sunbrella in blue.

. He reused all the long nylon zippers and most of the foam. Material $400. Labor $450. Time 1 week. Very happy. Found out Cortez goes to the 2 big shops and get partial bolts. Sunbrella for $19/yard.
