Dennis,I know your boat will already be there, so does that actually count as "first arrival"?A handful of boats from various homeports will be anchoring in The Gulf on Thursday night, and heading up-harbor on Friday morning. So methinks one of them might qualify as "first arrival".Of course, given the not-terribly-wide channel heading up to Milford Landing, the last thing we need is a drag race to see who'll be first. (A drag race? Oh yeah, right -- at 6 knots!)I'll be there in plenty of time to help welcome O'dayers as they arrive. I'll leave it to Mike C to figure out who gets the Mt. now that we are on our way to having the entire marina full with O'Day's, our attention is now turning to the "events" side of the rOnDAYvous. (this doesn't mean we're stopping the pertering for more owner's)Before we decide how to fill your weekend with things to do, I thought it would be nice to get your opinions as to what YOU would like to do in Milford in July.some of the events that we are working on are : Friday night Dock party?? Blindfolded dingy race??cocktail making competition? (oh yes!!!)Fun Race on Saturday afternoon (to get the appetite going for the BIG bar-bee-que)Boat projects (YES , I will go up your mast for you and do a rig check...)Pete has much more in the planning sdtages and as soon as we put together an itinnarary, we'll let you all know.ALSO!!!!!!!! I will be putting together ascavenger hunt for EVERYONE who attends with some very good PRIZES for the winners............
