...other than day sails. Oh well, I figured if anyone knew of a hidden gem, it would be on this forum.too bad my friend couldn't have his wedding somewhere in the BVI....
I flew into Bermuda a few years ago and we watched members of the Bermuda Yacht Club do spinnaker drills in Hamilton harbor. We wanted to get aboard a sailboat and do some sailing so we ended up renting a 16' O'day daysailor and we sailed it across the Great Sound to Hamilton Harbor and back while passing a small funnel cloud. We only got rained on a bit but it was great fun. If you want to get aboard a larger craft I suggest you try to infiltrate the Bermuda Yacht Club as well as the Dinghy club. Otherwise it is all about who you know and how you can get there, and how can you afford it (Bermuda is kindof expenbsive).
Thanks for the input, I'll check them out and see if I can at least crew on some races while I'm there or check out the Odays and cruise around the inlets. -Sean
