dakno, have 45# Mantus on 07 Hunter 41 DS with 5/16 chain and rode that came with boat. Works great! 55# anchor may be too heavy for windlass and may not fit properly on bow roller.

I just wanted to jump in here with a comment on the swivel's. We at Mantus did not recommend any of the swivel's on the market for two reasons. First was they could be side loaded when attached right to the anchor shank. Second in most cases they could not be inspected at the swivel point.
After we had so many customers asking about them we came out with our own design. You still use a shackle to connect to the anchor so it moves freely, No Side loading. and the unit can be taken completely apart to inspect and clean if needed. Also by adding this you are actually putting a shackle at least one size larger then you could use thru your chain link. I will add a link so you can see what we are talking about. Also we do have a very good knowledge base area that shows working loads and a good rode and chain sizing chart.

If you want you can print off a template on our website that you can tape or glue to a piece of cardboard and check the fit with a one dimentional pattern. This will show where the shank ends when it is pulled into the roller and it will show where the tip will stop. It will also show how high the roll bar is. The only problem with the template is if you have a bow sprit that comes up thru the roll bar may fit around it in real life but not with the template.
