Need to replace the original depth and speed display that came on a 23.5. It powers up, but the numbers for depth are always 100' and SOW is always 0. Would be nice if the new instrument supported SeaTalk since I plan to install an auto tiller at some point. Also, I do not want to drill a hole in the hull for a transducer. Prefer In-hull. Saw a thread where CD describes where to mount the transducer, very cool.
A fishfinder display is a nice-to-have. I do not fish, but it might be entertaining to my crew. Finally, I want the new instrument to mount where the old one was on the cabin. So there must be a flush mount option. Most seem to include pedestals.
