Our H-25 has a painted on non-skid applied to the floor in galley/settee/head area and its flaking and peeling off. Does anyone have a recommendation on a good replacement?

There are non skid paints that can be mixed and applied.

Two that I know of are:

1. Interlux "Intergrip" which is a non-skid compound paint additive
2. Awlgrip "Griptex non skid"

You simply prep the surface and mask off the surface to be painted and follow instructions.

I just repainted my decks with Interlux Brightside, flattening agent, and added SharkGrip anti-skid, available from Sherwin Williams. If I had to do it over again, I would have used Interdeck, because the cost of the individual components adds up quickly.

However the SharkGrip is spherical polymers that stays mixed in paint like Intergrip, but at about a third of the cost. You use very little of it and its more readily available than Intergrip.
