Dave,

I noticed the sander that you used during your bottom prep. I used a similar model when I started my bottom job. A friend who had done many bottom jobs came to help and brought his sander.

It was like black and white. His sander was a porter cable model 7345 which I now also have. It was worth the money to get. It is heavy duty and fits your hands. And it does one hell of a job.

Also, available with a duct collection system which save clean up time.

There is a difference between this model and the square ones. Guys in the body shops use this one. It is because of the sales to body shops that Porter Cable keeps making this older model.

Thanks. I will say this about my Makita sander, I have had it for about ten years. I have replaced every other power tool but this on just keeps keeping on.
