It's a more complete story than I had previously heard. I don't know who the producer is and if the details are correct. Nevertheless it's a sad story. I guess the blame would lie with the Catalina principals who didn't have a succession plan. Had professional investors been involved it sounds like this wouldn't have happened.
What happened to Tartan and the other brands?

On many Lewmar hatches (your's looks like mine), the gasket is sandwiched between the frame and lens. Now would be a good time to replace the gasket as well.

Does anyone know the approximate tint on these hatches so that new material can be acquired?
