After 19 years the fresh water system on our boat is in serious need of updating.
The original Shurflo 2.8GPM pump sounds like a diesel and the hoses are disgusting , some clamps are rusty! To replace the existing is just time and money but after looking at the maze of hoses, clamps and fittings I'm
keen to see if I can simplify/update the design.
I wonder if anyone out there has done this and can pass on some advice or suggestions.
My idea is to build a couple of headers for the hot and cold distribution, eliminate one tee by piping the forward tank directly to the midship tank, and relocating the pump so it is easier to access the primary filter for cleaning.
Thanks,
Bill
