I have an old Wilcox Critten Skipper marine head. Mechanical, all bronze with long handle. It has been in constant service for 20 years now and I would like to chat with anyone who has has the pleasure of this exercise.

I have run across a problem new to me after 4 rebuilds.

I also have/had a Wilcox Crittendon head on my boat. I purchased the "pump unit" on this site last year and installed it with no problems. My old porcelain bowl bolted up to the new plumbing and it works perfectly. The new plumbing, while different, is a great fix for your old systems problems.

No. 1. Did you have the 58 pound Skipper II head?

No. 2. What is the URL of the site where you got the pump please.

Thanks for the come back, fair winds

It has been about 10 years since the our aft head (WC headmate) has been done, just picked up the rebuild kit, this will be my 4th rebuild on 3 different boats.......

have new hoses for that head that might go on at the same time...... still thinking about doing that in the water.........not my preferred locaton for touching through hulls, .............. maybe.

The thing is I have a Skipper 2 head. As to through hulls, they are easy to work with if
you remember to close them first. Mine didn't matter as it was all stuffed shut with calcium and coral. Good luck.
