im rebuilding a catalina 22 almost done i came across a large peice of teak cant figure were it goes also 2 other peices any one able to q/a?

Maybe a picture would help.

But if it's a long piece that is say 2.5 inches wide it most likely goes along the top of the cabin in the V berth. You should be able to match the holes for port/starboard

ken.. its 2 in wide 2 ft long 1 3/4 hieght 2 monting holes with alot of holoes in the side

well still trying to figure it out

i looked at alot of cat 22 pixs havent seen anything like it moving on i cant figure out more entry way 2 pieces they are sloted and notched i can figure most of it but those two peices

I think that piece is going to go under the edge of the bridge deck, just above you keel handle. There are also one on each side of the slides for the crib boards on the inside of the boat.

i looked i dont c ok this ive got in place=the insert at bottom the 2 peices inside the 2outside of hatchway i have to sand an tounge oil wen some one gets home i will picture these other 3 peices and post them for u i appreciate yr help

my boat is a fixed keel 1982 im at a disadvantage bcuz i purchased it unassembled

Those two longer pieces look to go on the inside of the cabin against the campanion way. I still think they are trim pieces. The largest piece looks to be owner made, nothinig like the one that was on my old boat. I still think you'll find it attaches to the inside of the bridge deck. Are there screw holes on the side that doesn't have all the holes?

I looked through all the interior picures and have none of the entryway sorry.

the holes go all the way threw probably made.. i was lookin at yr upgrades to last penny great job i have 2 solar panels to place on this boat am i going to need 2 batteries and a selecter switch ?
