I have a 1977 Cat 27 and the deck side chain plate fittings are leaking water into the main bulk head. Can I remove those and re-bed them without disconnecting the upper and lower shrouds? Any advice? I've never attempted to tune a rig before and am not entirely sure if that would be part of this job?
