rebedding fiberglass arch fittings

Has anyone with a fiberglass arch re-bed the traveler and blocks where the line exits the inside of the arch to the traveler itself? Are these fittings simply screwed into a tapped baseplate below the fiberglass, as I can't see how any bolts could be accessed from below?

I've got a 1998 Hunter 410. Anyone who has tackled rebedding arch and deck fittings on this or other similar vintage Hunters that can let me know their experiences tackling this job, I'd love to hear from you.

Out of curiosity, why are you looking at re-bedding these fittings ?

I have a 1999 H-310 that came without the traveller and for years have considered installing one. As you say, the only way to install a new one (or re-bed an original one) is with an embedded aluminum plate in the arch or install the traveller while the arch is in two pieces.

Out of curiosity, why are you looking at re-bedding these fittings ?

Nothing is leaking, but the boat turns 25 this summer. Time will eventually get all sealants. Just want to work on this in the warm/dry months rather than in a rush ahead of next winter.

I would (if I had them) unscrew one (possibly) sacrificial machine screw and see what comes out. Can you hear a nut drop inside the arch ? Can you see aluminum threads at the bottom of the hole if you scrape at them with a dental pick ? Send a borescope up the arch through the handhole and see what's in there ?
