"Reasonably priced teak" is something of any oxymoron, but there's a guy on eBay who is actually selling it. They are kits that were intended for building teak benches, so you get some really nice slats. I've bought from this guy twice and the wood is absolutely first class and the seller is honest. If the sizes available are something you can use, this is a good deal. (The link will take you to the eBay listing.)

at about 1/3 the price...

Honduran new growth plantation teak, $10-15 bf. Actually Ipe (pronounced ee-pay) at 1/3 the price is a better deal in almost all 'teak' applications.

Good Teak Prices

Just bought a 5/4" x 4" x 7' teak board to replace teak damaged by Katrina. The price was $58.00 fob Riverside Lumber in New Orleans. They are open for business (504) 242-6624, after taking a big hit from Katrina

How easy is it to rip?

I need some 5/16" thick slats for my cockpit grate so I would have to rip these down to half their thickness. Has anyone done this and did you finish up with a piece of wood sticking out of your face?

Re-saw it

What you want to do is called re-sawing. I do it all the time. It is done on a band saw and then planed to the finished thickness. Go to the local high school and talk to the shop teacher. Take along a bag full of clean new safety glasses or some other tool they need and he just might let you do it or the teacher just might have the kids learn how to re-saw.

I've used a table saw

I've ripped pieces of teak this size on my small to medium sized Sears table saw, then sanded it with a belt sander. I got great results. I know this is not the real professional way to do it, but I don't have access to a planer. It works fine if you don't have too many pieces to do.
