Endeavour 32 Portland, Maine
Strider became operational today although just a bit too late for a sea trial. Moving the launch date up two weeks for the oceanographic cruise

and two weeks of radar installation and related mast work meant basically doing a two months of work in one. I hope it is a long time, or never, before I have to engage in such a sustained effort again.

If anyone would like to follow us on Google Earth, the SPOT beacon will update this page

every 10 - 30 minutes. Right now it just shows my errands this morning running around getting last minute rigging things.

We leave May 21. There is still a week of stuff to do to get the boat ready to support us and science for two weeks. It's going to be hectic and busy right up until we cast off the lines.

Cool stuff. Looking good. A long time ago I use to race on an Endeavor 32 by the name of Destiny. It was a centerboard. Nice boat.
