Mother nature never seems to give you a break. For those here in the land of pleasant living (Chesapeake Bay area) we've had a incredibly mild winter. There hasn't been all that much rain, except of course on the weekends (even then not all that much.)

While working in the cabin the rain had not been an issue, nor even the few cold days. However as we got closer and closer to scheduled launch there was stuff that had to be done outside. Rebedding hand rails that leaked, touching up a few areas on the bottom where the paint was thin, it was good over 90% of the bottom, washing and waxing her, replacing the main sheet.

None of these were a big deal but they all called for clear dry days and we didn't get'em. We are scheduled to splash this week so I was increasingly worried I would have to put it off. Luckily today was dry. So the bottom is ready the sides washed and waxed, just the on deck stuff remains. With a little bit of luck and cooperation from the weather we may be under sail next weekend!
