Ready to Paint The Bottom

oday 22 on trailer Asheville NC
It is scraped, washed with water, blisters repaired, sanded, rubbed down with 202 cleaner, ready to paint. What size and nap of roller to use and what type of brush to tip it with?
My O'day 22 is resting on 2 railroad ties and blocked up high enough and trailer pulled out from under to work under it.

Are you putting on a barrier (epoxy) coat or putting on some type of anti-fouling paint? I bought both paints from the bottompaintstore.com and they told me what to use for each. Sorry, but I forgot, but I'd look for help with the specific paints you are using from the supplier or manufacture. Most have application sheets online. Good luck,

When I did Privateer last year I used Pettit high build expoxy barrier coat and then used their hard anti-fouling. A 1/4 nap roller worked well and didn't really bother with tipping it as its pretty thick stuff. Anyhow it got 3 coats of each as to the instructions. I haven't pulled it since it went in and I have not had a look at the underside since then either so can't say about the effectiveness of the anti fouling paint. Although there doesn't appear to be any growth on the rudder also done with the anti-fouling paint.

i used rustoleum on the hull and sides and i used 4 quarts of primer on all and 2 quarts on the cabin and deck and 2 quarts on the hull....i have a gallon of aquaguard for the bottom paint...all together i got about 150.00 in paint and about 20 in thinner and cleaner....bought the rustoleum from ebay and home depot and the aquaguard off ebay... if you get the paint from home depot get them to check the bottom for settlement stir and shake it there...
