I am thinking about a new "reaching spinnaker" for next year. I hear of these Code Zero headsails that are supposed to set well and be forgiving of steering and trim. North makes a "G-0" that sounds like a good sail. Anyone know about these?Nicholas Walsh

Hello Nicholas, The code zero sail is usually designed to be used on
a furler. I have made a couple of them. They are generally made of a
mylar with a aramide reinforcing. I think the wind range is too
narrow to be a really useful sailfor a Vega.

I have built an asymetric spinnaker for our Vega. We are very pleased
with it. (However I think I would build a traditional spinnaker now.)
Downwind I put a reef in the main so as not to blanket the sail.
