re-wiring

i am planning to re-wire my '77 project boat along with moving the main AC/DC panels to a position above the nav station. looking for advice on running (and hiding) new wiring, getting rid of old stuff, and any other advice before i start ripping things out. saw the wiring diagram on the I30 site, but looking for more hands-on help.

Hi,  I just finished rewireing my 1980 catalina 30. I hid the wires behind the teak strip at the hull to deck joint. The original harness runs inside the headliner and there's no way to replace it that I can see. The only problem is there is a small amount of wire showing going to the lights.
