I have a 1980 hunter 27//when i purchased the boat 3 years ago the prev. owner installed a 16 gal plastic fuel tank in the starboard locker in the cockpit under the seat and disconnected the original fuel//i would like to have more fuel storage and would like to use the old alum fuel tank//its very hard to get at and would like to clean it out and use it again//the out side of the tank looks in good shape//would like to know if there is a way to clean out the old tank while its in in present location as it seems impossible to get it out //any help would be greatly apperciated tom
