Re-powering 78 H30

Hello All!

I am considering re-powering our 1978 H30. Would a Universal 5424 be a suitable replacement or would I have fitment issues? If a no go, what are some recommended engines to keep an eye out for?

We went with a 2ym15 and it fit well worked well driving the boat to hull speed but also being economical to run. Given the layout for the prop it would be hard to get max horse out of the 20 as their did not seem enough room for the larger prop needed to transfer the extra energy to the water.
