Finally made the time to do this properly and have removed the port-light and cleaned of the old sealant. Does anyone have any recommendations as to re installing- I realize this is pretty straight forward, but thought I would ask if anyone has any gems of wisdom!!

Hi Eian, all originals here, so little help. You're referring to the ones in the main salon, the ones that mount onto the larger plastic lens? Please let me know how it goes. I polish mine from time to time to clear them. Not at the point of replacement.
I replaced my ports a few years ago, reccommend using bolted method, they also say you can just use some 3M 795 sealant, I think its 795.. Very easy to do. Put sealant on both inside and outside port halves, then bolt both sides of window together
