Hi Dru: Thanks for supplying the fax number for Vega Marin. I'm hoping to be able to purchase a pair of bow chocks for our Vega as one of them (port side) sustained a terminal hairline crack from a direct hit with an anchor. I want a pair because I want a metallic cosmetic match. Ditto with the port side running light hit in the same freak accident. While I can replace same with non-Vega parts I am hoping to avoid drilling new holes, etc., to accomodate non-Vega OEM parts. Our Vega is No. 3228 which is a 1978. Anybody out there with any suggestions to solve what is admittedly a small (but annoying) problem would be warmly received. Failing the real item from Vega OEM, I will resort to the after market. I am thinking of replating the "bollards" that compose the two ends of the forward mooring cleat and those at each side of the stern and supplanting the teak section in each with a polished piece of stainless. The "bollards" on our boat are beginning to pit, and what appears to be a chrome plate overcoat is not as nice as it once was OEM. I have no clue as to what the base metal is on these fittings. Would anyone know what the base metal is? Could it be be bronze which is plated? Thanks in advance............ Jim Villa
