Many people in Ireland used to buy in the UK. Now that the Sterling exchange
rate is so poor, people are looking to buy in Euro countries.
I have to build up more coastal and night miles before my wife will trust me
to sail a boat along and across the English Channel
- so it will be a
while before I come back to you for details.
One step at a time. I'm heading off on a 70 mile overnight trip directly out
to sea at the weekend. If my computations of course to steer through a
series of tides bring me to a correct pin-point landfall (no GPS allowed), I
may be allowed to spread my wings further. Maybe I'll threaten a
circumnavigation and then compromise on a voyage from Holland !
