It appears that the detected Virus is being propagated by me. Will
investigate Microsoft website and get it removed. Wish to respond first
though with the though that anyone who is susceptible is already infected
except for very recent new users.

To Chris:

My tow vehicle is a 1986 Ford F250 with a small(302ci) V8 w/Automatic.
Maximum trip lengh was 140mi over relatively flat Midwestern terrain. Towed
easily and comfortabley at 65 but with some engine strain. Do not believe
it would do well in mountains. From what I understand, long wheelbase is
associated with smooth towing over the road. Both standard length F150 and
Durango are better than most in that respect. Transmission durability is
always a concern when towing. Probably Durango equivalent to F150 here but
worth asking dealers.

To Tom and Chuck:

Thanks much for responding to my mast raising system. Hearing actual
experience with hinge plate in re-assuring. I'm convinced that forward
lowering is best(hinge will work either way) and Chuck offers a very clear
description of how its done except is for one detail: how do you position
the boat so as to allow support of the end of the mast from shore, dock, or
sea wall since it will overhang by about 20'?
