You wait until the treadmaster starts to peel away at the edges, a horrible
job to remove and replace. The best answer I have used is Blakes Deck
paint. Goes on easy, lasts over five years and easy to repaint. I used the
stone colour and it works very well with the VEga colours.

Dear Vega friends,

I would like to mention my experiences with paint and treadmaster.

I have painted the deck of my Vega with monourethane paint , which dries
easily and
gives an excellent protection. However, some parts I mixed in small
glasspearls to provide an anto skidding effect.

It looked fine in the beginning. However, after one season the anti-slip
parts of the deck became
unsighty and dirty. I used all sorts of detergents and brooms of course
to clean the deck again.
It helped only partially, last years I repainted the deck with the same
monourethane paint and then I used Traadmaster.

Now she looks fine, there is no need to repain for the time being.

These experiences refer to the dutch atlantic climate with temperatures in
the sumnmer season
between 18 and 22 degr. C.' In Mexico thats quite different. The
experts tell me that monourethane paint resists very well bright
sunshine.
