RE: [AlbinVega]MD6A or B Coolant Drain Plug

Hello again, can anyone please tell me how to unblock the coolant drain
plug hole on the block? Only a drip or two comes out when I open it
(although the water jacket is full of coolant). Is it simply a matter
of reeming it out somehow? Or is the drain tube orifice more comlicated
than that? . Thanks. Trevor (Mystic Rose V2915)

Hi Trevor

This drain can be unscrewed and cleaned. It is usually clogged up with
crud and needs to be cleaned out. Not difficult and should only take a
few minutes once you have unscrewed the complete draincock assembly.

Thank you Steve. I now notice that the whole assembly is removable.
Had to feel around. No visual access. Richard, the coolant drain plug
is aft of and below the oil dipstick tube.
Cheers. Trevor V2915

I didn't know a drain plug existed. Where is it located?
