Dear Judy,
I just read your mail. Our Vega is Number V 1782 . At the moment we are
having winter in The Netherlands, so we donot use our boat until spring
time. She is moored this time in her berth, because bringing her ashore is
a costly business in Holland. Probably I will take her in the shore for
one week only in spring time for cleaning purposes.

We sail on the IJsselmeer and the Waddenzee. The IJsselmeer is a big
internal lake in Holland ( you may consult a map) and can be reached from
the Northsea thru large locks.

I know the climate in Seattle is not much better than here in Holland, we
have been there a number of times in the summer months. Seattle is a good
starting point to travel by car or boat to Alaska.

Happy sailing,

regards,

Henk Jansen
