Chuck: We just received the latest newsletter. It was
worth the wait. You and Laura did a fantastic job
which I'm sure is appreciated by all.
On the subject of the 2004 Pacific NW Rendezvous,
there was discussion amongst Brian, Diana, Mitzi,
Bear, Ken and I last fall about the rendezvous. I had
asked people at Pt. Browning last year how they felt
about a rendezvous in early Sept. Everyone seemed
favorable to the idea. The 6 of us also discussed
possible locations and came up with a suggestion of
Otter Bay on the west side of Pender Island, BC. I
haven't been there myself, but everyone else likes it.
It's a bit more upscale then Pt. Browning so we may
have to take an island taxi for the down and dirty
partying at the pub at Pt. Browning!!!
I'm putting this out for feedback on dates and places.
I would be happy to get all the contact information
and get the preliminary planning going once a date and
destination is decided. So everyone here's your chance
to put in your two cents worth.
AKVAVIT is snug under her winter tarp. Last week she
was covered with about 6 inches of snow!! I'm anxious
for April to be back out sailing on Puget Sound again.
I am, as always, suffering from mal de mere!!
