Thanks for the the helpful input on hinges for my cockpit locker covers. Peter, I went ahead and ordered the hinges you sugested:
Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Shortside Offset Hinge Open Width: 2-1/2"
Nice hardwared at a great price. But they look as though they'll set the locker off a 1/2 inch or more from where the hinge attaches to the locker openning. Do you have any pictures of your finshed installation?

I filled all the piuano hinge screw holes (a great source of locker leaks) and replaced them with a pair of Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Shortside Offset Hinge Open Width: 2-1/2" Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Shortside Offset Hinge Open Width: 2-1/2"

There are a whole lot of different hinges available here Cabinet Hardware for a reasonable cost, and I find the quality to be very good.

Hi Nathan,That was the hinge I used on the Ballad lids ... sorry about that!I looked through my photos and came up with pictures of the aft locker and the side locker hinges, and they are flat like this one. I remember I bought one each of a couple of types and sizes to finally get the right ones.Hope this helps,Peter
