Would any one know the market value of a Rc8 diesel 1980 in excellant running condition???

Somewhere in the same ballpark as a tired Atomic 4???Did you find an engine to replace your Renault?

Universal

The rc8 works great. I can start it with the pull cord even if its cold. Not enough horsepaower to get me into the gulf without making a day out of it. The bridge tender waves me on like I don't have the throttle fully open (which it is). I am going to try to get a Universal to fit.

Yanmar 2GM20 should fit

Check the dimensions carefuly. I think you can gat a 2 cyl in a H27. I've had bad experiences with Universal, no comment there.Pat
