Mine has quit, and I can see where the windwane is damaged/missing. So, anyone have a source for a used unit or a source for a rebuild. Raymarine no longer rebuilds and the ST60 will fit but the speed indicated on the gauge will be off by 25%, so says Raymarine.

Any help is appreciated.

May not be saving afterall.
I bought a ST60 set on EB for $450.
It was claimed as bench test only.
After 6mo, the needle just swing in circle.
Lucky a friend loan me a display and it was fine.
Spoke to Raymarine and to replace the circuit board would be $350 (90) days warantee.
A new display would be $450 (3 yr warantee).
I bought a new display. The bottom line is the same cost as a new set.

Take your chances on EB.

I have a used unit that may be salvageable for some parts. Let me know, it's sitting on my workbench, would be happy to help out a fellow sailor, and would only look to recoup shipping costs and whatever you feel is fair value, assuming it fixes your issue.

If you think about it you really don't care about the numerical value of the wind. It is just not what it used to be. As long as the direction is correct you will get the hang of the new wind values displayed.

REALLY? You don't want to know when it starts building? We have a set procedure when to begin reefing so we can get ahead of a potential situation.

Ok, here is what I did. Found a parts guy on the internet where I buy them and I rebuild the thing.
Then I found the entire transducer for sale from a guy in the UK who rebuilds them, Ebay give him a 99% rating as I recall.
I paid $400 and some, it will be here in a week.

Case Closed, and thanks to all who responded.
