Hey Guys, Long time, no post. I hope everyone had a good winter, if there is such a thing! Anyway, I have a question to those of you with a C-30 with a Raymarine ST4000 AND a rudder reference transducer. I recently came across a rotary rudder transducer (read: Got one for free) and I'm wondering on installation options. Has anyone installed one and how tough was it? There isn't a lot of room around the rudder stock for such a thing, but the Raymarine rep says that it will GREATLY improve course keeping performance so I'd like to give it a shot. It looks like I'm going to have to make a wooden platform for the transducer to sit on, and then glass it into place. Any thoughts out there??
