I want to connect Seatalk on old ST-50 Tridata to new ST-4000 Autopilot. This involves rare adapter cable to go from old round Seatalk to new square plug. Only place I found it was Marine.com, which it turns out is new owners of Sailnet, anyone ordered from them or know another source ? Cable is Raymarine D-188 (round female, preferred) or D-187 (round male) ?

...is to cut off the ends and use a junction box. That's what I did with my chart plotter. Assuming you have trouble with the adaptor. See this link. Rick D.

The latest piece of

Raynav gear I bought had a junction box for the Sea Talk connections. They are only wires. No magic. Jim

I have a mixture of ST50 and ST60 instruments and a S7001+ autopilot. I got the D188 (or D187 don't recall which it was) at West Marine.

Thank You, Ended up ordering the adapter

cable from Anchor Marine because they also had a power/data cable & mount for my GPS. Supposed to be here today, really looking forward to having the GPS at helm so I don't have to go down to the nav. table to see what it says. Also anxious to see how the Autopilot does when it knows how fast it's going & running off GPS.
