Does anyone know of this company or if there is a catch to the price of this raymarine ais 650?

They are displaying the price of this ais for $360. It usually sells for about $800. I'll buy at that price in a heart beat but it sounds too good to be true. What's the gimmick?

I remember hearing of this company !!!Big Scam......They are base in Malaysia ...or Indonesia.....

Here is a real deal: MATSUTEC 33 A Ais Transponder ,sold in Europe By FURUNO (rebranded) for over $800.
I bought one directly from the manufacturer for $330 including shipping !!!

In the description they list a Fort Lauderdale fax number to send your information. I would fax them a copy of the add, to verify if legit, and see what they say. I am betting they will be shocked to see their information used in such a scam.

That is less than half the wholesale cost..... Even Raymarine refurbs don't go for half of wholesale cost........ A rip off for sure....

I went through the add-to-cart and checkout process. I won't say it's a ripoff, because they haven't ripped me off. But they never ask for payment details until you've put all your information in and sent it off to them. And then they tell you that you have to pay via wire transfer. I suspect you would be unlikely to receive anything of value for your money once it has disappeared into the banking aether. There are scenarios where a wire transfer is a valid request. I do not believe that retail mail-order falls into that category.
