Ray marine chart plotter screen flashing

Hi,
New raymarine eS75 mfd installed. On booting up, screen flashes nonstop. All functions work as does the touchscreen, but won't stop flashing during all. Tried several resets to no avail. Has anyone encountered this? Customer reps closed and a search on their forum returned no results.

I tried this forum with a search the other day under flashing screen and vice versa with no results

I am assuming you have Lighthouse II release 17. If not, perhaps you need a software update. My a98 had the charter plotter fade to black slowly. I updated and it works fine now.

I just looked at the newest operation manual and it includes both my a98 and your ES75.
The only wild guess is page 390 Troubleshooting for the MFD which says to..
Use the setup menus to calibrate the touchscreen

It may be thinking you are continually touching the screen, even though you are not. Clean the screen too, :doh: bug dung.

A flashing of power would be noticeable if you have a DVM to check the leads.
