Raw water foot pump

Catalina Catalina 30 Greer's Ferry
We have just bought an '83 Catalina 30. The galley has a raw water foot pump that is attached to a spigot in the sink but has no intake attachment. Can someone help me figure out where it gets the water from outside?

Do you have an icebox? It might be the pump that drains water from the icebox.
