I'm sure that many of you have dealt with windshield issues such as leaking, etc. My center (opening) glass shattered. I'm considering how to repair it. The major question seems to be whether to use acrylic or glass. Acrylic is widely available and would be quickly accomplished; glass requires sending the piece out to be tempered after the hold-down holes are drilled. A secondary question concerns the rubber molding, which appears to be a custom piece. Beyond that is is the fact that the entire windshield, particularly the rubber components, is deteriorating. Any thoughts or solutions?
